exposed

As unanticipated and resilient as a WikiLeaks archive, my own stomach has been bargaining with the embassies of my well-being. It seems the more I try to breach the operation and get it under control, the more the confidential cables (or intestines) relay a different agenda. Just as WikiLeaks are a public opinion nightmare, I would have preferred to keep my secrets noforn. But since it’s been a few days since I last posted anything, I thought I owe you a short explanation. I’ve been sick.

I have also been compiling a research outline for what I hope will occupy the bulk of my remaining time here. I plan on meeting with my internship director on Monday for her suggestions and guidance. To date we have had mostly fleeting, facile encounters. And though my semester at Ibn Tofail lasts through February, Humboldt’s semester is coming to an end in a little over a week. Therefore I must also concern myself with arguing for receiving credit at my home university.

We’re hosting some sort of wedding party at the house today. If I feel up to it, I will try to take pictures and scrupulous notes. But given my capricious stomach, I can’t promise anything. Bahumbug.
